This is essential because, “His direct sustaining from the outside and the strength of the message inside can such a one endure the direct action of God on his life as well as the opposition of men.:
Through the years I have tried to memorize scripture. The main idea and paraphrase stays with me but exact wording does not stick. I’m encouraged that the author states the most effective way of ingesting God’s word is repeated reading and contemplation. I can do this and am so thankful to have God’s Word available to me every moment. What an ordinary means to God’s grace!
